The GRIMJACK: KILLER INSTINCT is a prequel to the stories John Ostrander and I did in the 1980's. For the last issue of the miniseries, I wanted to come up with a quintessential GrimJack pose, complete with "GrimJack classic" uniform-- the uniform that Grimjack wore during the Demon Wars. When he quits Cadre to set out on his own he dons the uniform again. (Uniball Vision pens, graphite, and watercolor.)
